Smacked back: just geeting ready for the Holidays...how are things?

whats up... finnaly added you to the hit list and smacked you.

A warrior will fight to the death and Nick is a warrior....I don't think anyone questions that. Since this is not a war but a sport we have rules and judges and they determined that due to health and safety risks the fight should be stopped. Any fighter will say they could have kept going but fighters will not always make the best decisions due to the fact they are sometimes more mentally tough and can block pain and good judgement. A loss is a loss regardless of how tough someone is or how they could do in another fight. To let him come out in the second round and take the risk of further injury when it was already determined he was injured enough to stop the fight would have been foolish and unsafe. It has taken years to bring MMA to the mainstream and it was done on the back of added rules for safety of the fighter. There can always be a re-match in the ring...error on the side of safety allows fighters to fight again and remain as healthy as possible.
